Jean Serge is a Senior Associate at the law firm. He is involved in handling corporate commercial transactions, legal advisory, drafting and reviewing different legal documents.  He represents and assists clients in courts, arbitration, and other judicial and administrative entities. Additionally, Jean Serge is involved in legal research and writing articles on relevant legal topics. Jean Serge serves the law firm’s clients who need various legal services related to corporate and commercial transactions, labour, banking and finance, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, data protection, privacy and cyber laws, arbitration, anti-money laundering and financing of terrorism. Jean Serge was trained in legal aid provision standards. Prior to joining Abayo & Co. Advocates, Jean Serge worked with Lead 4 Tomorrow Rwanda as Project Manager and he was also in charge of legal matters of the organization. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Rwanda and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Law at the University of Rwanda.
